We believe that God, God's Word and God's people will last forever, and loving each of those is what makes our community enduring.

We are an historic church which has worshipped together for over 150 years. We have a beautiful building and a priceless organ, BUT, the truest thing about us is our commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is the pearl of great price, and he is our sustaining power.
We are a tight-knit community committed to engaging our surrounding community with the love and redemption that Jesus offers to everyone. We have an intergenerational, and even international, congregation yet we are tied together by our common love for the Lord. We believe that many of God's people do not yet know him, so we seek to extend love and hospitality to all who join us and to go out and meet others to invite in!

We preach expository sermons (book by book, verse by verse through the Bible) because we believe that God does still speak--most especially through his Word--and we want to hear what he has to say to us!

Our Pastor:
Greg grew up in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts. As a young child he heard the gospel many times, and by God’s grace, he can’t remember a time when he didn’t believe in Jesus. He studied history at Yale and worked in campus ministry with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship for eight years. He has been married to his wife Jane since 2008, and they have three children. Greg received his M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and was a co-pastor at Trinity Baptist Church in New Haven for ten years. They are excited to be part of what God is doing at Talcottville!
